CLIENT

Drop Dead Twice

Drop Dead Twice approached me to produce their visual identity. The bar boasts a bring-your-own cocktail service, a taproom and alternative entertainment.

Taking lead from the bar's film noir-esque name and the owners’ interest in film, I took inspiration from the graphic film poster style of the 60s & 70s, particularly the work of Saul Bass. Opting for a rough cut-out aesthetic. This was joined by simple colour palette, and clean typography to counter the bespoke type.

● Taking from the logotype’s negative space, these shapes are generate a loose pattern, adding a bit of dynamism.
